On The Workshop Day

Come and shoot all day long at a glorious Estate in the outer region of Melbourne. Lunch is on us, with instructional tips close at hand, all the lighting gear you need to get amazing images, professional level models with top hair and makeup, props and the ultimate styling.

The location is a little way out of the city but we'll have coffee and tea waiting for you when you arrive. We'll introduce you to the the team and run through all the exciting things we have planned for the day.

Our incredible location has so much to offer so we'll be shooting both inside the manor and then outside in the gardens and orchid. We'll have a combination of natural light and flash on the day so you have the opportunity to try both.

We will begin shooting inside the European inspired manor and you'll have the chance to shoot our models against the beautiful textured walls with gold paintings and quaint furniture to use as props.

After enjoying a delicious lunch, we'll move outdoors and focus on texture and natural light, there's a few secrets to getting the best out of natural light and we'll show you the equipment that so many pro photographers use to bring their images to a whole new level.

In the last hour of the workshop we'll use images taken on the day and run through a typical fashion retouching workflow and you'll even receive a booklet with all the techniques shown in the demonstration so you don't have to worry about forgetting something down the track.

You'll walk away from this fashion photography workshop with knowledge on how to prepare for your photoshoot, confidence to execute your vision, photos from 9 different set ups, how to time manage on the shoot day, how to use reference images, collaborating with your team, uncovering your personal style, what to put in your portfolio and heaps more.
